My Project
Children today need to become financially literate. Learning how to manage their money and maintaining a good credit score is important for their future success in our society.
Technology like iPads provide a great way for students to grasp the concepts of financial literacy.
Through app games, students will learn how to save and invest. They will also learn the difference between wants and needs.
The free apps my students will be using include one which allows students create their own city and manage the finances of their city. Another app will teach students the difference between wanting something and needing something. A third app will help students understand why saving is important.
These games will allow the students to understand financial literacy in a fun way and at their level of understanding.
