This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

What I love most about my students is their resilience and determination. Despite facing daily challenges—whether it's coming from low socioeconomic backgrounds or navigating the world with disabilities—they come to school eager to learn, dream big, and do their best. Many of my students face financial hardships at home and simply can’t afford the basic supplies that make learning possible. Yet, they show up each day with hope and heart, ready to grow.

This project will provide essential classroom supplies like pencils, pens, notebooks, and folders—items that many of us take for granted but are powerful tools in a student's journey to success.

With these materials, my students will be able to participate fully in lessons, stay organized, and take pride in their work. These supplies are more than just tools; they’re a symbol that someone believes in them.

My goal is to remove one more barrier to learning by ensuring that every child in my classroom has what they need to succeed. No student should feel left out or unprepared because they couldn’t bring a pencil to school. With your support, we can give every child—not just the well-resourced ones—the chance to shine.

My students are special not just because of where they come from, but because of where they’re going. They are kind, curious, and brave, even when life is tough. They dream of being artists, engineers, teachers, and leaders. All they need is a little support—and with this project, I hope to give them exactly that.
