This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work at a high need school in the South Bronx, New York. I teach 4th grade English and love what I do. Although we send out a supplies list to parents. we do not get many of them fulfilled. Also, the school budget is tight and we have limited supplies.
The school does not provide students with pencils outside of testing, so we constantly need pencils, erasers, and napkins.
These are the items that really make my class flow smoother so we can focus on learning. Thank you for your support!
