Pencils, at the Ready!

Help me give my students the supplies (i.e. a mountain of pencils and a heavy-duty sharpener!) necessary for every high school math classroom.

My Project

At the beginning of the school year, I purchased two boxes of 144-count pre-sharpened pencils, thinking I’d be ready anytime a student needed one. Oh boy, was I wrong!

A few months ago, the pencil sharpener on my classroom wall finally met its demise, and we are still awaiting the arrival of its predecessor.

I would love for my students to have access to an electric pencil sharpener (heavy-duty, of course!) so we don’t have to wait for a new one to be installed.

We still have several weeks of school left before summer, and pencils are a valuable commodity at this point. Next school year, another round of students will need the basic supplies necessary for a high school math classroom. Rulers, compasses, protractors, graph paper, and the other items in this request are vital.
