Pencil Wars

Help me give my students pencils for pencil wars and sharpeners to keep in their groups to always have sharpened pencils.

My Project

With the help of this project I will be able to give students 4 regular pencils and one large neon pencil to keep in their pencil cases, from a previous project. These pencils will be used in a game that we call Pencil Wars. Pencil Wars works on students responsibility and their executive functioning skills to be organized and keep their items safe.

This game is a weekly check to see students being responsible and taking care of their items.

They are given a case and 5 pencils. Every time that I check these pencils they need to be sharpened and students need to have all 5 pencils in their case. Students will get to sharpen their pencils with these Afmat pencil sharpeners. These sharpeners are automatic and take seconds to sharpen. They are also wireless and have the ability to sit on students groups to limit the movement around the classroom. Game on!
