Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach seventh-grade students in a high needs, inner-city setting. Our school is extremely diverse, with nearly fifty percent living below the poverty line and seventy percent receiving free or reduced-price lunch services. In my class, I have students that are either living below the poverty line or teeter slightly above it.

My students are incredibly curious, innovative, and creative.

They learn best when they are exposed to hands-on experiential learning and when they can apply the knowledge they've learned in class to a real-life situations.

My Project

I would like to get an early start getting my students gifts for the upcoming holiday season. It is almost time for the giving season and I wanted to gather some much needed materials for a holiday gift for the entire seventh grade at my school. Students will receive: a personalized pencil pouch, a couple pens, pencils, and erasers.

I want to make sure this holiday season is filled with fun, love, and laughter for an excellent group of students.
