This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Families in my district have a hard time providing essential supplies. This project would provide essential supplies in the kindergarten classroom that would be used in hands-on activities and project-based learning. Project-based learning enhances student engagement, develops real-world skills, and promotes deeper learning. It allows students to apply knowledge to authentic problems, collaborate with peers, and develop critical thinking skills. The supplies include copy paper, pencil boxes, scissors, construction paper, and other similar resources.

Project-based learning fosters creativity, problem solving, and time management, preparing students for future success in both academic and professional settings.

The supplies that are on the list are essential in the classroom for kindergartners to create and be successful. Creating an environment with more hands-on activities helps students see the value and impact of their learning, leading to increased engagement and better retention of knowledge. Your donation would help fund supplies that would otherwise be hard to afford.
