My Project
Journaling is a powerful tool for helping students explore their thoughts and feelings in a safe, private space. By writing regularly, students can develop important skills like mindfulness, emotional awareness, and self-regulation—skills that support their overall mental wellness and success both in and out of the classroom.
With a class set of journals, my students will have the opportunity to reflect on their emotions, set personal goals, and practice positive self-talk through guided prompts and free writing.
This daily habit will help them manage stress, build resilience, and cultivate a stronger, more positive sense of self.
My goal is to provide students with practical strategies for coping with big feelings and navigating challenges with confidence. These journals will serve as a resource for ongoing emotional growth and will help create a classroom culture where mental well-being is valued and nurtured.
