My Project
My class gives students with special needs a safe place to work with peers. Covid 19 impacted my students because of lack of contact and has set them physically behind. Through organized peer to peer instruction, special needs students learn and develop physical skills. This grant will provide adaptive equipment that can help modify activities so everyone can be successful. Easy to hold small hockey sticks, soft bocci balls and a low balance beam modifies each skill. Cubbies are needed to keep equipment organized. A voice amplifier speaker helps for clear instruction in a large space and for students with disabilities.
This Peer PE class is special for all students involved.
No matter what the level, these resources will help each student develop important physical and social skills.
