Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My Peer Mediators are interviewed and selected based on their character and leadership ability.
We focus on enhancing the learning environment for our students by conducting activities and building lessons focused on helping students transition from middle to high school.
As the year progresses, we start helping them develop better social awareness and independence. Once they have developed a relationship with their freshman, they are responsible for building the lessons around their needs. Having access to a printer would allow the mediators to prepare and print their lessons for the freshman.
