Help me give my students positive mental health awareness resources to reinforce their abilities to provide compassion and care to Peers in need. This includes wristbands, social skills games, and other items.

My Students
Who are Peer Helpers? Our Peer Helpers are students who care about helping their Peers through difficult times. This year we have 23 juniors and seniors who applied, interviewed, and were selected to join our Peer Helper class. In our school, Peer Helpers are students who are trained to recognize when their peers may have a problem, listen to fellow students confidentially, and assist them with emotional, societyal, or academic struggles.
In the process of helping others improve their self-esteem, Peer Helpers can themselves become leaders and role models.
Peer Helpers attend class each day for 50 minutes researching, learning, sharing, teaching, and practicing life skills to help their peers in our school. Our ultimate focus is Mental Health Awareness. Some of our main topics to learn more about are self-care, self-love, mindfullness, toxic relationships, grief, social media challenges, communinication with others, anxiety, depression, teenage stressors, family struggles, addiction, abuse, academic awareness, self-harm, and suicide.
When not in the classroom, these Peer Helpers are "on call" to help others during the school day. They donate their homeroom time, study hall time, lunch time, and other needed times to meet with students in need. These students CARE about others.
My Project
Our ultimate focus in our Peer Helper class is Teen Mental Health Awareness for ourselves and our fellow peers. Some of our main topics to learn more about are self-care, self-love, mindfullness, toxic relationships, grief, social media challenges, communinication with others, anxiety, depression, teenage stressors, family struggles, addicition, abuse, academic awareness, self-harm, and suicide.
With these gifted resources, Peer Helpers will be provided with an enhanced ability to share positive mental health with others in a safe environment.
Each Peer Helper will be given the opportunity to enlighten peers in our building by sharing positive mental health awareness. Every week, Peer Helpers meet amongst a small group of younger peers and participate in a healthy activity. Activities vary but all revolve around improving teen mental health. Other times throughout the school day, helpers meet with students on an individual basis to listen, share experiences, give advice, and show empathy. The resources will be given to others for personal use at home or school and will provide a physical feel and attachment to the emotion or troubling situation the student is experiencing that particular day.
