This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

For the last few years educators have seen a rise in the amount of students that are receiving special services. More students means more supplies needed. As an educator, I am constantly learning and growing to ensure all students regardless of their developmental level receive an equitable education. Through my journey, I have learned about some amazing developmentally appropriate materials!

Preschool students with developmental delays need more play materials that promote exploratory and functional learning such as the Fisher-Price toys.

I hope that these new materials will fill that void and help students feel happy, comfortable and independent!
