My Students

My name is Mrs. Pettway. I am a fifth grade teacher from a rural Intermediate School in Alabama. I currently teach Reading departmentalized to 106 students a day. My students are from diverse ethnic backgrounds as well as full inclusion students. We are working on several book studies this year and students have been excited about having more collaboration in groups when possible. Due to COVID restrictions it is imperative that we keep our students as safe as possible. In our daily five class rotation, I have up to twenty five students per class. I am in need of a class set of clear shields for my students. Students would be able to collaborate in groups in a safe manner and also be able to see the smartboard during instruction. Your help with this task will be greatly appreciated.

My Project

In efforts to maintain safety for all students, this project will assist in meeting this cause. My students are hard workers from diverse cultures and need to feel some sense of normalcy while engaged in a classroom environment of collaboration, small group instruction, and intervention strategies that require partners. It is my desire to expose every student to the possibility of success no matter the learning style for them individually and collectively. Problem solving is a critical component of state standards and collaboration is a huge factor of Problem solving. Join in the process of producing positive prominent world changers.
