My Students
Our school will be offering an all virtual option this coming school year. Our students come from a variety of backgrounds but all have a willingness to learn. Many of our teachers are innovators in their fields and are trying to accommodate the needs of all of our students.
Our students are energetic and love to learn.
They are curious about the world around them. These challenging times have made it difficult for all students to get the resources they need. Supplies for virtual learning are vital right now as well as tools for creativity and self-expression.
My Project
This coming year I will be teaching all virtual classes. Online tools such as PearDeck and TeacherMade are not only going to be convenient, they are going to be necessary. These online tools will allow me to interact with students in real-time while teaching a lesson, give students immediate feedback, and provide an easy platform for them to complete and submit work.
These digital tools are both engaging and easy to use when teaching and learning through a virtual class.
With PearDeck all students are able to be active participants in the lesson by responding to questions in real-time and give them a feeling of actually being part of the class. TeacherMade is a convenient and easy way to assign worksheets for students to complete online. Student work can be monitored in real-time, graded, returned, and resubmitted as needed. Again, this is going to be a vital tool to have when teaching virtually.
