This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school garden is growing and we are so very thankful for all of the donations towards our community space that help to support learning and social-emotional growth. We recently have had such great outcomes with the solar fountain pumps we received this past spring, but several that have been running all summer are starting to wear down some and also we would love to be able to expand our water fountains, as the entire school loves the calming water features. In order to do this, we are asking for your help.

With your help, we would be able to purchase several more floating fountain pumps, as well as replace a few that have worn down, all to help support our sweet students and staff by giving them a safe and peaceful place to learn and relax.

This in turn helps to support our learning community and the opportunities students have to learn in different environments, as well as the many lessons that can be gained while in the garden.
