My Project
Our classroom is in need of a calming corner to support the social-emotional well-being of our students. As a kindergarten teacher, it is essential that I create a supportive environment that addresses not only the academic needs of my students but also their social-emotional well-being. One way to achieve this is by implementing a calming corner in our classroom. Having a designated space where students can go to relax and regroup will help them develop essential skills for managing their emotions and coping with stress. A calming corner will not only provide a sense of security and comfort but also teach valuable life skills such as self-awareness and self-regulation.
