This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Therapy is not based on a single model and not every therapeutic approach will fit for one student. Gardening allows students to have fun and be kids! Gardening is a form of therapy for some adults, I want to bring that for students on campus to explore the calmness and patience. My goal for this project is to create a club in which students can explore gardening as a therapeutic approach while also beautifying their campus.

My students are curious about the world and love to feel included in different activities.

It will be rewarding for students to witness the growth of their plants along with learning a new coping skill. Thank you for considering my project and dedicating your time to learn about my vision for my students.
