My Students
As a teacher at a Title One school in the urban core of Jacksonville, Florida, my students face obstacles inside and outside of my classroom. Despite their challenges, my first graders are able to leave that all at the door when they come into our classroom. My students come in everyday excited to learn! My students are energetic, active and creative!
Many of my students are being raised in single parent households and all of my students receive free breakfast and lunch at my school.
Although I can not control what happens at my students homes, I want to be able to give my students the best school experience they can have!
My Project
My students need more flexible seating options in our classroom. A majority of my students are kinthestic learners, meaning that they learn best when they are moving. Allowing my students to choose their flexible seat in the classroom, will help my students focus and stay on task.
Scoop rockers, and balance balls will provide a variety options and also provides my students with the ability to choose which works best for them!
Your donation will help me to provide the best learning environment possible for my students. I am constantly trying to better myself and my classroom in order to provide my students with the best learning environment possible. With this project my classroom will be a classroom with flexible seating fully implemented. Providing all these options will allow my students to maximum their unlimited potential.
