My Project

My students are brilliant, creative, and resilient. But like many young people today, they also carry stress, anxiety, and personal challenges into the classroom each day. To truly support their learning, I want to make sure they feel safe, seen, and soothed—every single day.

This project will provide essential wellness items to help students manage their mental and emotional health throughout the school day.

That includes feminine pads for students who may not have access to products at home, fidget tools that support focus and emotional regulation, and creative supplies for calming art activities that allow students to express themselves without words.

These simple but powerful items will give my students dignity, comfort, and tools to help them reset when life feels overwhelming. Whether it’s a student quietly asking for a pad, another reaching for a fidget during a tough lesson, or a class winding down with a reflective art project—these moments matter.

By funding this project, you’re helping me build a classroom that honors the whole child—not just their academic needs, but their emotional well-being too. Thank you for believing in the power of small comforts to make a big difference.
