My Project
Although the term auditorily hostile seems like a harsh term, it is very accurate for some students. There are several students who struggles with any extra noises. When student participate in group activities, there are several people speaking and it is difficult for them to survive the noise being generated by group work. When a fire alarm goes off it is even more difficult.
Surviving auditory hostility can be overwhelming and difficult to thrive.
Noise cancelling headphones will allow these students to be more involved in group activities, pep rallies, school wide activities, and much more. My goal for this project is to allow all students to feel emotionally healthy in all social and academic activities. My students are very special just because of who they are and who they are to me.
