My students need many bean bags for various activities, three target tosses, body bingo playbook and a cooperative game which will all be used for indoor PE days!
Why do my students need to suffer because we don't have a gym? They shouldn't! And they won't, if this project is funded we will be equipped with several new activities for indoor PE days.
My students have PE five days a week and during our winter months and our rainy spring we are often forced to keep students inside their classrooms for PE.
(We do not have a gym.) Believe me there is NOT enough room for 22 little Kindergartners and First Graders to move around the room! So if this project is funded, we will have an assortment of various activities for indoor that will keep students active yet not too active!
My Project
My students need many bean bags for various activities, three target tosses, body bingo playbook and a cooperative game which will all be used for indoor PE days! We will be able to focus on math skills with the various types of bean bags. I will be able to focus on tossing skills safely (yet still fun) in the classrooms. I will be able to get them very active in their small areas with body bingo. And last but not least, we will be able to work on teamwork and cooperative skills, which honestly, I think are of the utmost importance!
Help me keep my students active whether we are indoors or outdoors!
I have the motivation techniques ready, I have the ready and willing students...I just need some help with the resources! Help students learn you do not have to be outside or in a gym to do physical activities.
