This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have a vibrant set of students who have a passion for learning. There are so many characters in my classroom; I'm always excited to see where our days of learning take us.
No matter the time or place, I can always count on my students' love of art, reading, and science.
Our school is in the heart of Boyle Heights, just down the street from downtown Los Angeles. Many of our families struggle to provide their students with opportunities and resources that are necessary for them to become collaborators, communicators, and critical and creative thinkers. In our classroom, we try to bridge this gap and give them all the tools necessary for them to be the 21st-century thinkers that we need today and for years to come.
My Project
The amount of P.E equipment in our classroom is very limited. Many of the materials we do have for P.E are very dated. Having a flag football set and a football will help motivate and engage my students in P.E. The water bottles in this set will help encourage students to drink water, and bring water to school every single day.
Having new PE equipment will help engage more students in physical education!
I know that this new equipment can help engage even the more reluctant students to participate in physical education.
