This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My scholars consist of a wide range of personalities that all have one thing in common, the eagerness to grow as scholars. With your support of my project, I will be able to provide my scholars with resources for success and to be physically active.
My goal is to help scholars find a life long physical activity they can enjoy.
My scholars are growing up in a low income area that does not predict their educational trajectory. My scholars will work hard to get smart, have fun, and will be college ready! They are researchers, mathematicians, scientists, authors, historians, etc. My students are the future of Dallas and members of our future society. Every day, they come ready to refine their motor skills and eager to learn about their body.
My Project
My scholars are very active, which is a great thing. However, I do not have enough equipment for all the scholars. I am asking for new basketball, four-square balls, and hurdles. My scholars love coming to physical education class everyday.
This equipment would change my class for the better.
I am hoping to gain this equipment so that all my scholars have enough to play with. Everyday they show eagerness and ready to learn. With your help my scholars would have new basketballs to play with everyday. They would also have hurdles which would be amazing to use during relay races because they love racing each other. With your help you can help bring joy to my scholars faces.
