My Students

What was your favorite subject in elementary school? The large majority of the students in our school would enthusiastically say P.E.!

My students are full of energy, love to play, and are eager to learn new sports and games.

Our school is in the center of Salt Lake Valley. Because of the demographics of our city, not all of my students get as many opportunities to be a part of sports teams outside of the school setting.

Let's give my students more access to a wide variety of equipment!

My Project

My students will be able to play a variety of games. Physical Education is about more than exercising your body. Physical Education also helps students with their social and emotional learning by helping to raise their endorphins, learning to work with others in a team setting, and how to rationally solve conflict. It has been proven scientifically that participating in physical education has a positive effect on student thinking. Exercise and/or movement helps students to have academic success in the classroom. My students are going to be so excited to play with this new equipment.
