Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our young students need new sports and physical education equipment to start the new school year! Our students are active, and playing with PE equipment helps them focus in class.
PE equipment helps students develop coordination, spatial awareness, and balance.
It also improves cardiovascular health, strength, and flexibility. It also helps with cognitive functions such as problem-solving, strategic thinking, and concentration. We need scarves for directed dance time, hoops, balls, and jump ropes to use during outdoor playtime. We are also requesting storage bins to keep our new PE equipment organized.
Our young students love to play! Your donations to our project will help our students develop critical thinking skills, and they will also encourage them to work as a team!
