This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My class size is expanding and more equipment is needed for my elementary students. The students need to learn rules, routine, teamwork, collaboration, and good sportsmanship. PE is great to build confidence, lose weight, give the brain oxygen, and build friendships.

I am asking help to get more equipment for small practice groups, whole class game play, and for students to use for recess time.

I am needing basketballs, volleyballs, jump ropes, tug-o-war rope, plastic mats to create designated bases or lines to start, air pumps, mesh ball storage to carry equipment outside, storage for the classroom, and PE teacher whistles to maintain students' focus/start/stop attention. PE equipment will be used daily to learn game rules, play for fun learning to accept winning/ losing, and develop physical motor ability elementary students need to practice for balance and coordination.
