This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Students in my classroom are active learners. They are very independent workers. Most come from a lower economic home and have very little resources at their disposal. I also have a lot of student who have are bilingual and English is their second language. Students in my classroom are thinkers and problem solvers. They dive into all areas of the curriculum and read about it, explore it , question it, and develop a good understanding of the subject or topic we are learning about.

My Project

Currently I am required to teach PE. It is really hard to teach when you have limited equipment available to us. We have school equipment that has to be shared with every class in the school.

Teachers have to teach PE to their students since we do not have a PE teacher.

Teaching without materials is very difficult. I am in need of equipment so I can teach my students the required PE standards. If you are able to provide the balls and other equipment for my classroom I would be very grateful to you. My students love PE and I want to make it a learning and exciting part of the curriculum.
