This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My 3rd graders are sweet, fun, and full of energy! I recently watched them dance and sing to an entire Selena album with energy to spare.
I want to provide my students with meaningful PE experiences through a variety of activities.
Unfortunately, our P.E. equipment is also used during recess as classroom teachers provide P.E. instruction. This results in a large amount of equipment needing to be replaced frequently.
I'm hoping for some hula hoops to teach my students new activities! Please support me in this goal! Many of the lesson plans I've explored use hula hoops and I feel disappointed when I have to change the activity because I don't have the materials needed in our equipment shed. I so very much appreciate your support in helping me bring this project to life!
