My Project

As we all know, public school budgets are under more strain than ever before. There is such a demand to meet the emotional, behavioral, and academic needs of our students, and the supplementary funds to support these initiatives just aren't readily available.

Our school has been deeply invested in creating a Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS) system to help manage the behavioral needs for our school in a setting where all students find success.

All of the teachers and staff make an effort each day to catch students being good. A large part of the program revolves around a system of acknowledgements, where students are ‘rewarded’ for their achievements. While not all rewards are tangible items, I would like to create a PBIS Reward Store in my classroom where students could shop for treats. I’m looking for a toolkit of simple items, such as candy, fidgets, writing utensils, and stickers to use as acknowledgement items while recognizing positive actions. Our school is already beginning to see the healthy changes in our teaching environment. Please help reward our students for their contributions and hard work.
