Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school will adopt in 2023/2024 the PBIS model for our school-wide behavior plan. This is the first year where I will implement a new way to encourage students to make positive choices while they learn. Many students love to eat snacks during their 15 minute break. With that I'd like to provide healthy snack opportunities if they earn enough "tickets" throughout the day. This will tide their little bellies over through the long school day.

Providing motivational snacks will help keep them learning and their minds open to learning new things.

My students are amazing learners with the kindest hearts. They care for others and make choices daily that make me proud. I'm hoping that with our school district's new implementation of the PBIS program, those good choices will be continued to be made.

My students are a unique, loving group that shine a bright light with their smiles. Thank you for continuing to give my students a school environment that they love coming in to.
