PBIS Jaguar Store for Positive Behavior

My Project

My students are hardworking students who continue to thrive even with their obstacles.

I am a 7th grade Language Arts teacher and I am striving to make learning fun.

I teach in a low-income community where 96% of the students live in low-income housing. I would like to help my students overcome the financial and educational inequalities they face.

My school focuses on Positive Behavioral strategies to be used in our elementary school. Through our PBIS program, we are continuing to build positive interactions for students and I am looking to expand my class store inventory. As students earn points for positive things in class, they are able to spend them on items in my store. Students are encouraged to come to class on time, remain focused, and turn in all assignments.

I love the willingness and tenacity of my students and would like to motivate them by celebrating their victories.

I am a school teacher and in my classroom, I have a wonderful positive behavior system in place to reward my students who display our 3 PBIS expectations: 1. Be Respectful 2. Be Responsible and 3. Be Ready. Students earn Class Dojo points and they are able to use their points to purchase items at my PBIS store. As a PBIS teacher, I know how crucial positive reinforcement is to my students. I am requesting Powerade Liquid Sports Drinks, Lollipops, Milk Chocolate, and other snacks

I believe in preparing our students to be respectful and responsible young adults and to always be ready for the school day.

When the students display these they are rewarded as an individual. The students will use the points to cash in on sweet treats.
