This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am currently teaching a class called College and Career Readiness. The purpose of the class is to prepare students for their future. The Pay Day game is a great way to introduce them to financial literacy. It shows important concepts like loans, interest, savings, unexpected life circumstances, budgeting, and more. It's a simple, straightforward game that they will all be able to understand and play, and it's a whole lot of fun! Getting a class set of this game (1 for each table) would most definitely be of great benefit to my course!
