My Project
One of my goals for this year is to reduce the amount of paper used in our classroom while teaching my students to protect our natural resources. The dry erase pockets and markers will help us achieve these goals by allowing multiple students to complete an activity using only one sheet of paper instead of twenty!
We begin our year as individual students but end our year as a family.
This takes time, practice and patience! I want to implement a classroom reward jar. The students will decide on a class reward to work toward. It may be a night of no home, extra recess or even a dance party. Every time our class receives a compliment from an adult, a paw point token will be added to our jar. Once the jar is filled, the reward will be given. Hopefully, this visual reminder will be an incentive to work together to achieve the goal. The mermaid fabric will be used to create two claiming stations in our classroom.
Kindergarten students always need Kleenex to help keep germs from spreading.
