Help me give my students pattern blocks to help develop early math thinking strategies.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Linley's classroom raised $240

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The learning materials that I am here asking for will allow my students proper access to the curriculum I teach. If we give children challenging things to do, learning comes naturally. Kids are interested in anything and everything and should have access to the hands-on learning materials they need.
We live in a world where our youth are simply not provided enough quality resources to shine; this project will help make the dream of a bright future come true.
These pattern blocks and storage boxes will help my students receive a rigorous early start in math. Pattern blocks are useful for learning numeracy as well as for learning geometry, and they are useful for helping young children discover the relationships that arise between number, shape, and pattern. (The classroom photo is from my old classroom. You can see how far they get by the end of the year!)
Please give us these blocks as soon as possible. I am now working at a new school and supplies are limited. I've left most of my Donors Choose supplies at my old school and so I am in dire need of replacements. School officially starts next week!
