Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I absolutely love how open-hearted and curious my students are. Every day, they walk into my classroom eager to learn about people and places far beyond their own experiences — they want to understand how others live, what they believe, and how cultures across the world are both different and beautifully connected. I’m so proud that in my classroom, my students feel safe to be themselves, to share their own backgrounds, and to celebrate the differences that make each of us unique.
The resources I’m requesting will make a real difference for them: the colored pencils, regular pencils, sharpeners, atlases, and Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will help us bring geography and cultural studies to life — letting my students explore maps , create projects, and engage meaningfully with the world.
The fidget bands, organizers, storage containers, fan, and floor lamps will help create a learning space that is calm, welcoming, and comfortable, where all students — no matter their needs — can focus, feel safe, and thrive.
