My Project

This is part 3 of this project. Parts 1 and 2 have been funded through Donor's Choose! I have multiple projects going through four different classes that require a variety of materials. Some examples of projects include artwork, tire repair business, rebuilding engines, making tip-ups, fishing lures, bracelets, and earrings just to name a few. Students will use these resources as requested to finish their passion project or business idea. Students are making fishing lures and need a tackle box to store their lures. These materials will be used for my class and our after-school clubs so they are able to go fishing! The tri-folds and markers will be used to present their information.

Students have a vested interest in these project materials as they will be able create or build something that is special for them and keeps them engaged with learning.

The cool thing is, that this class will provide hands-on experience and allow our students to use their imaginations. It also allows students to be creative and will teach some important life principles in exploring their passion or becoming young entrepreneurs.

The technology, innovation, and design class will provide lessons that incorporate reading, science, and math! Students will learn about different passion projects along with different types of business principles. My classes will also focus on life skills which include teamwork, decision-making, and using critical thinking and planning skills. These learning experiences will allow our students to explore their creativity and imagination, while creating something they love!

Every spring, our middle school puts on a Summer Jam for our local community to showcase the learning of our students throughout the school year. At this event, I will be showcasing my students' passion and entrepreneurial projects. Thank you for investing in my students and classroom.
