My Project
I am beyond excited to be starting this special education program for students with emotional and behavioral disabilities. This is my first year teaching and it will also be the first year that my school has this classroom. My classroom is designed to fit the individual needs of each student. The goal of this program is to provide emotional support, self-regulation skills, social skills, and a positive learning environment for each student to be successful at school and in their futures.
The PASS program is designed to meet the individual needs of each student and support them so that they can be as successful as possible for their futures.
PASS stands for Positive Approach to Student Success. The materials includes in this project have been carefully selected to fit the individual needs of each student as well as to support a positive classroom environment.
The supplies I am asking for like fidgets, games, and toys will help to teach students skills like how to work with others, self regulation skills, and independent practice. Flexible seating will help students to be comfortable and focused within the classroom. Pocket charts will be used to provide visuals and daily schedules for the students to follow.
