This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
This school year, I have the opportunity to work with the most beautiful group of children alongside my co-teacher, Mrs. Tursi, and our paraprofessional, Ms. M. Our students are curious, motivated, and brave individuals. They arrive at school each day with a positive attitude and ready to take on the day! Mostly, they're just so excited to be learning in person, being able to interact with their teachers and one another face to face. With your help, we will minimize the spread of germs and prevent student quarantines and classroom closures.
My Project
Our students are excited to be back in school learning alongside their peers. We want to prevent future classroom closures by using these partitions to protect students against potential respiratory droplets from others in the room. Knowing that there are partitions between students' desks may also bring peace of mind to students and their families; feeling safe in school is extremely important for successful learning to occur. The partitions will mainly protect against the spread of germs during breakfast and lunch when students have their masks off. I appreciate your support! We greatly appreciate it!
