My students are in a full time ICT second grade classroom. Many of my students come from low-income families. Several are English language learners. There are a few that come from single-parent (or single-grandparent) households.
All of my students are unique individuals who are always eager to learn and be engaged in exciting activities.
My diverse 2nd graders come from a variety of backgrounds and have different needs and wants.
All of my students are eager to learn with open minds, ready to be filled with knowledge.
Our class has become their second family. They are very energetic and enjoy working with each other, love projects, and strive to do their best
All in all, they are a group of awesome kids!
My Project
My students are currently sitting next to a partner and it is difficult for them to concentrate on their own work. It's important that they receive the privacy that they need in order to enhance their concentration and really help prove what they have learned. With these privacy partitions, there will be less distractions that can keep the students from finishing their quizzes and getting the correct answer. Providing students with the appropriate environment is something that I want to ensure I give to my students! The folders will help students as we read directions together on assignments and they can focus on the important details that are needed, while in their own personal space!
More than a third of students from low‑income households
