My Project
We are seeking funding to host a Tea Party for Title I Students, an enriching event designed to promote proper etiquette, social skills, and family bonding. This initiative will provide students and their families—particularly mothers and caregivers—with a unique opportunity to engage in a structured, interactive learning experience while fostering a sense of community and belonging.
This tea parTEA will Promote Proper Etiquette by teaching children essential table manners, polite conversation skills, and respectful interactions, helping them build confidence in social settings.
It will also Strengthen Family Bonds- By inviting mothers and caregivers, the tea party will encourage quality time, reinforcing the importance of strong family relationships in a child’s development.
Additionally it will Enhance Communication Skills – Students will practice active listening, clear speech, and appropriate responses, skills that will benefit them in academic and social environments.
It will also Encourage Cultural Awareness – The tea party will incorporate traditions from various cultures, helping students appreciate diversity and inclusivity.
It will also Support Emotional Well-being – A structured social event like this can help children feel valued and included, fostering positive self-esteem and emotional growth.
As well as Improve Academic Readiness – Studies show that students with strong social-emotional skills perform better in school. This event will reinforce positive behaviors that translate to classroom success.
