This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I will be entering the fourth year of coaching our band's auxiliary program and we continue to grow! We need the basic equipment listed to help with this continuing expansion.

My team will use the flags for practices so we can learn new moves without having to worry about snagging show flags or using decades old sewn flags that are weighted differently.

We are continuing to grow our skills, which causes our flags to wear and tear quicker and it also affects our spinning and tosses. We perform to 3-4 songs for each show season, and we have multiple equipment changes within each song. Having enough practice flags to simulate our flag changes would help tremendously with our practices for our performances.
