Help me give my students a way to explore their interests and create visual art.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Cali's classroom raised $355
This project is fully funded
Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are a Leader in Me School and we have clubs that students can chose to be part of that help them explore their interests.
Taking pictures is a tactile art form that also teaches critical thinking skills to achieve the best picture.
You can't explore photography without cameras, which is why this project is so important. Some students have only taken pictures using a phone, so putting a camera into their hands will allow them to discover the fascinating world of visual arts. Cameras will also allow them to learn about lighting, frames, backgrounds, and subject placement.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
