PARACHUTE Into Fitness And Fun!

My students need a parachute because they are fun to play with and effective in helping students develop strength, coordination, and locomotor skills.

My Students

Our school serves students in grades K-8 and provides rigorous academics, fantastic teachers, and a safe learning environment. As a result, we are consistently one of the top schools in the state every year. Our goal is to prepare our students for success in high school, college, and life. Physical Education is one of the many ways our school helps prepare its students for life. Teaching them the importance of fitness and nutrition help provide them with the tools they need to stay active and be healthy.

My Project

Every Physical Education class needs a parachute. A parachute provides an endless amount of games and activities that are enjoyed by all students. Students love using parachutes for big group games like Shark Attack, Duck Duck Goose, Eggs in a Basket, and Giant Bubble. You can also incorporate parachutes for athletic strength training coordination and locomotor movements. Parachutes are always a big part of any field day and large team building events. The grand size of a parachute makes it the perfect piece of equipment for large classes or groups. In addition, their bold bright colors always bring a smile to kids' faces.
