Help me give my students a fun toy to play with during recess while we're in the middle of this pandemic.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Parker's classroom raised $227
This project is fully funded
My Students
My classroom is self-contained, and I teach in an urban area. Reading is very important, and I want to highlight the importance of it this year with this group of students. I do know that I will have a variety of students on different levels. I have a group of students that come from different backgrounds.
My Project
We cannot physically touch each other at school. The students are to remain separated from other classes during recess. When my students are out at recess and playing on the playground , they have to leave. My students have to leave and go to an area , where there is no playground equipment . My students get sad , when they have to leave the playground area and make up games or just stay bored.
This parachute will bring us closer together as a classroom family , letting the students know that we can have fun together outside the classroom.
This will also let them know that we don't need an actual playground to be active during recess.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
