My Project
I teach at a Prek-5th grade Title 1 school in a small town in a rural area of North Carolina. Our students receive free breakfast and lunch. My students are curious, creative, and energetic learners who come ready to grow each day. Many of them come from diverse backgrounds and may not have access to needed supplies. I want every child to feel confident and prepared as we take on new learning adventures together.
I’m asking for help with everyday supplies that keep our classroom running things like tissues for runny noses, pencils for writing our stories, crayons for coloring our dreams, glue sticks for building and crafting, and paper for showing what we’ve learned.
These materials might seem simple, but they are the building blocks of learning.
When students have the supplies they need, they can focus on what's important—learning, creating, and collaborating. With your support, we’ll reduce distractions and help every child feel included and equipped from day one.
Having these supplies means fewer interruptions, fewer worries, and more time spent learning. It means my students can focus on growing their skills and building confidence. Thank you for helping me set my students up for success as I create a warm, welcoming space for all!
