Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
"Wow!! I didn't know papers can be so beautiful." My students love to explore papers and create authentic projects with them.
Kindergarten students from Title 1 school, in a public, inner city school.
They do have not exposures to arts and parents are working double jobs to meet basic needs. My students are excited about learning and love to be engaged in art projects: painting, collages, or drawing.
My Project
With these materials, I will be able to:
1. Make collages with my students,
2. Create scrapbook projects,
3. Design artistic images.
My students will learn:
1. art concept,
2. art skills,
3. art history,
4. application of art, and
5. personal interpretation of art.
Often parents or students throw away the projects students have created.
However, with these high quality art papers and well designed art instructions, students and their families will be able to keep the projects for a life time. What a way to create memories!
