Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Most of my students struggle with reading and writing. They may want to learn but find traditional materials uninspiring so motivating them to read and write is a challenge. The materials I request will encourage student's engagement and willingness to enhance their reading and writing skills. Colorful and organized reading materials and writing prompts alongside visible printed materials ready for reference will also give them the freedom to effectively choose their learning styles at their own pace.

Pens and papers when tailored to the children's interests are powerful tools in motivating them to read stories and also to create their own.

I have students who can read and also have great imaginations and are potential writers but due to the pressure of academic learning, they were tired of same routine and timed writing sessions. This project aims to empower and motivates these students to become confident readers and young writers. They will spend more in indulging themselves to explore the materials and most likely motivated to write.
