My Students
My class consists of approximately 20% girls and 80% boys. They are mostly from Hispanic and Black ethnic groups and lower-income communities. There is a zeal for learning despite the circumstances that they are faced with. Some have emotional, social, and/or academic circumstances that are limiting. The ESL and students with special academic needs receive services in order to assist them in the learning process.
These students need to be prepared to compete in an ever-changing world that is technology driven and requires individuals who can represent any organization with dignity.
They want to be successful and are challenged to be successful.
My Project
My students are stimulated by hands on activities. They enjoy learning as a group and willingly engage in any activity in which they can assist each other in the learning process.
Many of our daily tasks are distributed on copy paper.
As a teacher, I use thousands of copy sheets each month. Your donation to this project to purchase copy paper and STEM manipulatives will help my students to progress academically, socially, and emotionally.
Teachers and students across the country have gained from the generous donations received on this platform. I am confident that my students and I will be a part of this group of grateful educators and students.
