Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love how curious, creative, and eager my students are to explore new ideas. They bring energy and imagination to the classroom every day, and I’m constantly inspired by the way they engage with hands-on activities. My students learn best when they can actively participate in their lessons, and they thrive in environments that encourage self-expression and creativity. I enjoy watching them discover new things, ask thoughtful questions, and support one another as they grow together both academically and socially.
The resources I’ve chosen—manipulatives, paper, and construction paper—will each play a unique role in supporting their learning.
Manipulatives will help my students understand abstract concepts by giving them tangible, hands-on tools to explore math and science ideas. Regular paper will be used for writing, drawing, and note-taking, supporting their literacy and fine motor skills. Construction paper will spark creativity in art projects, storytelling, and interactive assignments, making lessons more engaging and meaningful. Together, these materials will create a dynamic and supportive classroom environment where all students can succeed.
