My Students
My students consist of a wide range of ethnic backgrounds as well as learning abilities. They love to learn and are always excited to try new activities. I am teaching a mixed ability class this year who are up for the challenge.
"If a child cannot learn in the way we teach, we must teach in a way that the child can learn." - Ignacio Estrada
All students receive free breakfast and lunch. We have a high diversity of cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
My Project
I am requesting paper to supply various handouts and practice sheets to my students for learning basic skills. We also need pencils for my students to be able to take notes and complete practice sheets.
I need to supply my own colored paper (and I am almost out) and my students seem to always need a pencil everyday!
My goal is to provide pencils to all of my students everyday. Help them become organized with the different colored papers. We will use different color for different subjects. By providing these basis supplies everyday in class it will help them become better students.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
